Punchlight Story Summary

पंचलाइट कहानी.  ......यह कहानी बिहार के एक पिछड़े गांव की है। उस समय गांव में टोलिया बनाने का रिवाज था। तो उस गांव में दो टोली बनी थी। मेहता टोली में .अशिक्षित लोग थे जबकि दूसरी टोली में शिक्षित लोग थे। एक दिन उनके गांव में रामनवमी का मेला लगा था। मेले में मेहता टोली वालों सदस्यों ने एक पेट्रोमैक्स खरीदा जिसे पंचलाइट भी कहते हैं। और उसे देखकर मेहता टोली के सदस्य बहुत ही प्रसन्न हुए। और पंचलाइट देखने के लिए मेहता टोली के सभी सदस्य बच्चे, मर्द, औरतें ,बूढ़े ,बुढ़िया ,सभी आ गए।

Punchlight Story. ......This story is from a backward village of Bihar. At that time it was customary to make a troupe in the village. So two groups were formed in that village. There were uneducated people in the Mehta group while there were educated people in the other group. One day a Ram Navami fair was held in his village. In the fair, the members of the Mehta group bought a petromax which is also known as Panchlight. And seeing him the members of the Mehta Toli were very pleased. And all the members of Mehta Toli, children, men, women, old men, old women, all came to see the punchlight.

  यह सभी इसे साधारण चीज मानते थे तथा इसे जलाने के लिए सभी शुभ मुहूर्त का इंतजार करने लगे। तभी समस्या हुई कि पंचलाइट कौन चलाएगा।  उनमें से किसी को भी पंचलाइट जलाना नहीं आता था। उस समय टोली में गोधन नामक एक लड़का भी था जो कि गांव की एक लड़की मुनरी के प्रेम में पागल था और वह जब भी उसके घर के सामने से जाता तो वह सिनेमा का गाना गाकर जाता था।  

  All of them considered it a simple thing and all started waiting for the auspicious time to burn it. Then the problem arose as to who would run the punchlight. None of them knew how to light a punchlight. At that time there was also a boy named Godhan in the group, who was madly in love with a village girl, Munri, and whenever he went from in front of her house, he used to sing the song of the cinema.

तो मुनरी की मा ने महत्व टोली के पंचों से गोधन की शिकायत कर दी और पंचों ने गोधन को मेहता टोली से बाहर निकाल दिया था। जब पंचलाइट को जलाने की बात आती है तब मुनरी ने पंचों को बताया कि गोधन पंचलाइट जलाना जानता है। मुनरी की यह बात सुनकर मेहता टोली के पंचों ने गोधन को बुलाने का आदेश दिया और पंचों के आदेश के अनुसार मेहता टोली के सदस्य गोधन को बुला कर ले आते हैं। और गोधन आकर पंचलाइट को जला देता है और पंच लाइट को जलते देख सभी गांव वाले एवं मेहता टोली वाले खुश हो जाते हैं।

So Munri's mother complained to the Panchs of the importance group about the cow and the Panches had thrown the cow out of the Mehta group. When it comes to lighting the Panchlight, Munri tells the Panches that Godhan knows how to light the Panchlight. Hearing this from Munri, the Panches of Mehta Toli ordered Godhan to be called and according to the orders of the Panches, the members of Mehta Toli bring Godhan. And Godhan comes and burns the Panchlight and all the villagers and the Mehta group are happy seeing the Panchlight burning.

 तथा गोधन को पुणे अपनी टोली व जाति में ले लेते हैं और गोधन के सारे गुनाह माफ कर देते हैं और गोदन से कहते हैं अब तू रोज गाना गा और मुनरी की मां भी  खुश होकर उसे खाने पर बुलाती है  और वह भी गोधन को माफ कर देती है। अब गोधन रोजाना मुंदरी के घर जाता है खाना खाता है और मुंशी के साथ मटरगश्ती करता है।
